Online Network Marketing: Moving towards micro niche


Micro niche marketing? What is this? Well beginners, this is what you should know if you are serious about your online network marketing.

In simple words, it is a small defined sub sector of a bigger niche. For example, the “vitamin” market is a huge market and not really even a niche. Now the “liquid vitamin” market is more defined but still too broad. “Fruit based liquid vitamin” would be a good niche. But an even better micro niche might be, “Mangosteen extract liquid vitamin”.

You see, a micro niche is a very small and tightly focused sub sector of a bigger niche. A niche can have a large variety of micro niches that you can target in your marketing. Using the example above, we might also market specifically to the "How to get Mangosteen extract liquid vitamin in a bottle”. This might work for any health conscious people.

The real power of micro niche marketing is that you are focusing your efforts on the needs of a very specific and defined market. You can easily figure out what the needs of this market is and what you need to do to answer those needs. You can understand their motivation and their pain and then step in and be the hero by offering your micro niche the solution to their problem. And because these niches are small and focused you won't have to spend hours on end researching and trying to figure out what the needs are for the market and how to best address those needs.

These micro niches are also much less crowded which gives you a much better chance to get your message to your target audience. Another example might be in order here. Let's again look at "liquid vitamin" for example. A quick search show us that there are over 13 million pages listed for that search phrase. Do you think your odds are good for ranking for that phrase? Forget it!

Now lets look at “How to get Mangosteen extract liquid vitamin in a bottle”. For that search we see just under 6,000 pages. Much better. A closer look will tell us that the competition is not that tough and that we have a good chance of getting in the first ten results for that phrase. Now we have a micro niche that we can easily target and market to and because we know our competition, we know that this is a market that we can easily target and profit from.

Marketing is all about finding a starving crowd. A group of people with a common problem that you can provide a solution for. Micro niche marketing is the best way to accomplish that as an Internet marketer. This tactic allows you to really hone in on your market and give them exactly what they need to solve their specific need. It also allows you to dominate that market because it was passed over or completely over looked by the masses.

    Nice post. Network marketing can be applied to a wide range of products and services. Products like food, personal effects and medication or communication, Internet and financial services are common end products sold this way. Dealing with anything that is on demand is bound to be successful.

    I agree with you that almost everything and anything can be put up on the net. Whatever it is, we need to focus to the finest niche so that we are not caught up in a mass competition.

    Successful, according to 'The Blue Ocean Strategy' is to get yourself out from competition. Create your niche.
