Beginners: Do the right things right


Most beginners when considering an online network marketing business would first jump into looking for ‘hottest products’ thinking that the so called ‘hottest product’ will be able to lead them to more sales. Finding product to sell online is undoubtedly the most fundamental and yet most important step of any successful Internet Marketing campaign.

However, looking for a hot product to sell online is actually one of the biggest mistakes made. You have to understand that most people go online with the intention of looking for solutions to their problems instead of making a purchase online. Therefore, rather then trying to find for a hot product to sell online, you should instead be sourcing for a market with a common problem that people are actively trying to solve.


The essential first step towards setting up a successful online network marketing campaign is to find group of people who share the same problem and then choose a product or service that can help solve their common problem.

Secondly, find your niche market. A niche market is defined as a group of people who are searching the internet for a solution to a particular problem and not finding many relevant search results. By narrowing your focus to a smaller niche market rather then focusing on a general market gives you the following advantages:

1. There is way less competition

2. Smaller markets are easier to dominate

3. You can easily gain the loyalty of your customers, giving you lots of chances to offer them with related products and follow up orders.

There is a simple formula towards finding your niche market. Lets take a look at some of the big general markets and how we can narrow down some general markets such as health conscious people to become niche market. For health conscious people, the niche market could be:

‘Looking for healthy ways’ - (Actions) and ‘Antioxidant liquid vitamins’ - (Area of interest)

Finding a niche market is about finding a specific and highly focused group of people who are all looking for solutions to their common problem on the internet. If you can't use this formula for your niche market, your niche market is not focused enough.
