Beginners normally going through a tough time in the first twelve months blogging and making money. When I first started my first blog (Business Blog dot com), I too was having tough time selling my ebook. As time goes by, I learned the tricks and now I have a total of nine blogs. Here are some good blogging tips for beginners.
1. Keep a monthly progress report
You need to track your blog carefully so that you know what's working. It’s just a simple record for you to refer every month. Don’t worry about the format. As a guideline, your report should contain the following:
a. A daily visitor count
b. A list of your most popular blog posts
c. The number of sales you've made on your blog, as well as the income the blog has generated
This is important because when you know exactly how your blog's visitors are interacting with the material on your blog, you can give them more of what they want and turn your occasional visitors into confirmed readers.
This is how I monitor my Vemma Nutrition Program. My blog tells me how many visitors clicked my Vemma Nutrition program link and joined the free trial program. My blog is just a marketing tool to attract visitors.
2. Plan and follow up
It's vital that you plan everything that happens on your blog. Your plan gives you direction; it also eliminates procrastination. For example, if you know that you need to write 10 blog posts a week, you're less likely to simply stare at the computer screen or play computer games. You'll get those blog posts written.
3. Build traffic streams to your Blog
The more you focus on traffic, the more traffic you'll get. However all traffic is not created equal. Some traffic is useless. If you get 10,000 visits from one of the social networking sites for example, and none of those visitors does anything to increase your income, that's useless traffic. Focus on traffic which generates an income for you.
If you are serious about online network marketing business, I suggest you to seriously consider these steps.
